Joel to perform in Atlanta this Sunday for Flexi-Quad

Guitar geeks!

You are invited to the introduction of the “Flexi-Quad”, the best wah pedal on the planet! This is a special event hosted by Steve McKinley to showcase his latest creation and should be an absolute blast!

The fun starts at two o’clock with an overview and demonstration of the Flexi-Quad followed by a good old-fashioned guitar shootout. The competition will be judged by a panel that includes Joel Kosche of Collective Soul, Mac Carter of Drivin’ and Cryin’ and local guitar hero Bryan “Smitty” Smith. Joel Kosche will perform a special set featuring songs from his hard-rocking solo record “Fight Years” and later The Tim McGovern band will crank up some great SRV, Hendrix and Clapton covers. With your ticket you’ll be automatically eligible for hourly giveaways of great guitar stuff!

Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of this fantastic guitar-filled day. This is an all ages event and there’s NO cover charge so if your kids like to play Guitar Hero at home, they’ll love seeing an exciting real guitar competition.

Joel recently checked in from the road and had this to say:

“I get a lot of people asking me about the guitars that I play. The conversation usually starts like ‘What are those guitars you have with the cool headstock design?’ or something like that. Well, they’re made by a great guy and supremely talented craftsman named Mark Johnson. He and his family were kind enough to invite me and Ed into their home. We had played a show in Cardwell, Montana, which is right around the corner from Mark’s shop in Belgrade. They’re really great people and build incredible sounding, beautiful guitars. If you play guitar and you need a top notch instrument you should definitely check out what MJ has to offer.”
